Intended Audience
The Advanced Physical Intervention course is designed to give people the additional skills required to work within the Security Industry Authority. It builds on the training provided on the SIA Door Supervisors programme and looks at techniques that can be used when more than Level 2 skills may be needed.
Pre-requisites
- Be 18 years or older
- Sufficient English speaking and literacy skills
- Have no criminal record
- Proof of ID & residence
Course Overview
The Advanced Physical Intervention course can help to close the skill gap between what is taught on a level 2 programme and what would be classed as adequate and relevant training to work on licensed premises. We will address some things missing from your physical intervention toolbox, such as arm entanglements, pain complaint holds, and escorts.
Our instructors have a wealth of experience, enabling them to support you as you begin an exciting career as a Door Supervisor.
