Former respected airport security trainer and soldier Tony Bainbridge read out answers to an undercover researcher posing as a would-be bodyguard
SIA Training Fraud.

Thousands of licensed security guards could be working in the UK fraudulently after buying qualifications for cash,  via courses delivered by an Industry Qualifications (IQ) approved training centre, a BBC investigation has found.

Jobseekers must sit mandatory exams to get a Security Industry Authority card*. (*Licence)

But undercover researchers found colleges happy to sit or forge exams for untrained students for a fee.

With a fraudulently obtained SIA licence, a researcher got a job offer at a power station and an interview to guard Canary Wharf.

There are still company’s and individuals out there that are carrying out this practice, and if you complete your course in this way you WILL have your licence removed.
