We are now reintroducing the level 2 Award for Security Officers to our range of courses that are offered to the public. This course has proven popular with corporate clients as it addresses the role specifically to Security Officers rather than focusing on licensed premises as in the Door Supervisor course.

Why would you choose the Security Officer course over the Door Supervisors course? – The Security Officer module covers things you require to work as a Security Officer that aren’t covered in depth on the Door Supervisor programme. Things such as Patrolling, access and egress control, vehicle searching and security systems are all covered in detail and will equip you with the knowledge needed to begin your journey into the security industry.

The Security Officer programme does not include the Physical Intervention module so is suitable for people that may not be physically fit enough to complete the door supervisor course. On successful completion of the training the learner can apply for an SIA licence to work as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry.
